Mexican American Studies Field of Study
The Mexican American Studies Field of Study Curriculum is designed for students seeking a bachelor’s degree with a major in Mexican American studies. The field of study expired on August 31, 2025.
Austin Community College’s (ACC) former field of study courses for Mexican American studies are listed below. This Field of Study Curriculum for Mexican American Studies consisted of 18-19 lower-division semester credit hours (SCH) that were fully transferable to other Texas public colleges and universities to be applied to the Bachelor of Arts in Mexican American Studies.
Note: Fields of study that expired before the Spring, 2026, enrollment deadline at a receiving institution may not be accepted. Whether a receiving institution accepts credits completed as part of an expired Field of Study Curriculum is at their discretion.
