A Message from the Chancellor

Dear Riverbats,

Welcome to Austin Community College District. Our College is more than a place to reach your academic goals—it’s where you will discover your passions, grow your confidence, and find your purpose. We’re honored to have you as part of the Riverbat community.

No matter where you’re starting from or where you’re headed, our aim is to make sure you’re supported and loved every step of the way.

I encourage you to ask questions, seek support, and get involved. As a Riverbat, you have access to free services and resources designed to help you academically, financially, and personally.

We offer free tutoring and academic coaching so you can stay ahead in class. Our Career Services team provides coaching and resumé support, and our counselors and support teams can connect you with food and groceries or child care scholarships and emergency funds for those times when life gets hard. As you work toward your goals, we’re also here to help you plan what comes next—with transfer services and programs to support your journey beyond ACC. I encourage you to stay connected with your advisor and use what’s here for you.

Your time at ACC should be fun and rewarding. Our campuses and virtual services offer ways to get involved and find a sense of belonging. Join one of our many Student Life groups, attend special activities, and check out our exhibits, shows, and performances.
