The Austin Community College District (ACC) Asian American and Pacific Islander Cultural Center was established in the summer of 2022 as a result of efforts by the ACC students, faculty, and staff as well as local AAPI community advocates to rally for a space dedicated to supporting the needs of all students and broadening awareness of and engagement with the AAPI cultures and contributions worldwide.

The vision of AAPI Cultural Center is to support students in their academic journey at ACC and create opportunities for the community throughout the district to learn about and engage with the AAPI heritage and cultures.
