Earn College Credits in High School

Dual Credit
ACC’s Dual Credit program offers college classes to eligible high school students that could satisfy their high school graduation requirements, apply to their associate degree or transfer to their next institution, if applicable. To take college classes through ACC’s dual credit program, you must be a high school student residing in our service area . This includes public, charter, private and homeschool students. Prerequisites, admissions requirements, and specific course limits will apply.

Early College High School
To participate in ACC’s Early College High School (ECHS), which allows students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and an associate degree simultaneously, you must be enrolled in a high school district that operates an ECHS program .

Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH)
To participate in ACC’s Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH), which allows students the opportunity to earn a college certificate and/or associate of applied science degree simultaneously, you must be enrolled in a high school district that operates a P-TECH program.

Career Academy
ACC Career Academies are also available to high school students, which offer opportunities to earn an entry-level certificate that is recognized by area employers. Upon completion, you will be able to seek entry-level employment right away and/or continue your enrollment at ACC to work toward an associate degree or if applicable, bachelor’s degree.
