Eligibility Information
You are eligible to attend Austin Community College District (ACC) if you:

- Earned a high school diploma, certificate of high school completion, or High School Equivalent (HSE)/GED certificate.
- Are 18 or older without a diploma or HSE/GED and can prove that you are able to successfully complete college courses. For academic courses, you may be asked to take and score a passing grade on the reading, writing, and/or math sections of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) test. You can prepare for the TSI test by going to TSI Assessment Preparation. To request special approval based on ability to benefit, contact the Admissions and Enrollment Office.
- Are a high school student participating in the Dual Credit or Early College High School programs.
If you do not meet any of the categories above, you may contact the Admissions and Enrollment Office at student.records@austincc.edu to discuss any exceptional admissions standards that may apply.
ACC also offers several Adult Education programs to give eligible adult learners the opportunity to take college credit courses for select in-demand careers. Visit Career Pathways for more information.
